Educational Excellence through Technology Integration

As schools prepare our youth to be competent in an ever-changing global marketplace, it is essential that they not only 'learn', but more importantly learn 'how to learn'.

Our educational institutions need to reflect the needs of society--a society becoming increasingly reliant on technology.  Slide rules have given way to calculators, and home computers are commonplace.  Homes that do not have internet access are usually not far from libraries or schools that do.

Technology has so permeated our lives that sometimes we forget that it is
simply a tool.  We still need to know how to add, subtract, multiply & divide.  We have to be able to decide for ourselves if an answer or outcome is "reasonable".  We need to be able to discern "fact"
and "opinion" (especially where information is presented on the internet).

This site focuses on the use of different technologies in education to enhance learning and prepare the students of today to be tomorrow's leaders.

Integrating technology does not necessarily require a huge financial outlay.  Use what's available first--then decide where to go from there.  Start small--make 100% utilization of something before trying to add to it--that's a great way to get value from what you have!
